The alternative from scotland formed in 1979 and split up in 1986. their first release was on the 'bullshit detector' compilation album on crass records and a 7" followed on crass records in 1982 called 'in nomine patri'. this is their 1982 demos on one cd with a live set from gateshead from 1983. the alternative were one of the best anarcho-punk bands in the heyday of the 1980s. well written songs, intelligent lyrics, effective use of samples, melodic tunes and distorted guitars. this has everything you would expect from a crass-related release and more. it's shocking that something this good could remain out of print for so long.

IN DEFENCE are definitely hometown favorites (usually drawing bigger crowds than the touring bands they support), have a relentless tour schedule, and are comfortable playing with bands from across the hardcore / punk / metal spectrum. IN DEFENCE have several previous releases out on Learning Curve, Give Praise, Scene Credentials and World Won´t Listen Records and have been likened to a cross between MUNICPAL WASTE meets CODE 13. Several members of the PE team ventured out during a blizzard to participate as guest vocalists on this recording! Party Lines and Politics CD is slated for an early release on May 3rd, with the vinyl version coming out for their summer 2011 tour.

The summer heat of 2010 made some Warsaw dudes, who have been pretty much experienced in playing hardcore, metal and punk, decide to team up together to create a musical hybrid that by any means couldn´t be called a summer vacation soundtrack. Past and present members of a few Warsaw bands (Government Flu, Drip of Lies, Daymares, Coalition, Sunrise, Born Anew to name a few) wrote really sinister, angry and filthy tunes, inspired by the darkest and the most furious songwriting of last decades (from Born Against and Rorschach, through Entombed and Neurosis, to Cursed and Converge). Bitterness and frustration helped to spawn a full length made of 9 (well, rather IX) songs - some of them are slow and heavy, some of them are raging fast. In the very same hot summer the songs were recorded in their homebase Warsaw and Nikt Nic Nie Wie got interested in putting them out soon after that (both in vinyl and CD format). To support the upcoming debut, Cast In Iron will hit the road anytime soon, gigging throughout Poland and beyond.

NNNW is happy to announce the release of a long-awaited record from one of the most interesting and more active polish bands of the last few years. The LP was released in the summer of 2009, now the time has come for the CD. Since 2005 THE FIGHT have consistently followed their own path, combining uncompromising socio-political message with raging punk sound, not being afraid of more melodic parts at the same time. After several european tours, numerous shows in poland, a demo CD and a 7" release, the band presents their first full-length. "MALDICION" includes 12 fast, perfectly sounding songs with passionate female vocals. During the four years of its existence The Fight evolved from melodic hardcore/punk towards fierce harcore, sometimes even crusty, sound. Included is a booklet with lyrics raising important and ucnonventional issues, with polish tranlations and commentaries.
