Following up their 7" on Havoc and splits with Rambo and Intense Youth, Caustic Christ unleashes their first full length on the scene. Poseurs shall know fear as the Caustic Christ hardcore steamroller crushes all opposition. Caustic Christ has one of the most unique "sounds" in current hardcore because they mix the bass heavy drive of Swedish crust with the high octane thrash of American hardcore. The lyrics and music sound so aggressive and pissed off the speakers can barely contain the rage. Lryically the straight forward agitprop of Aus Rotten has been replaced by a more bleak form of social commentary based on a desperate alienation. But critics who think Caustic Christ have distanced themselves from political statements should read the lyrics to Satisfied Means Pacified and other tracks on this LP. The cover artwork is by Tommy Gun who also did the 7" and shirt artwork. I was a little un nerved by the choice of Ha Ha Ha by Flipper as a cover, that band always got on my nerves, but hey some of you out there are going to like it.

This collects the Classic East bay Hardcore band´s original "Sounds Of Nature"12" on one side, then the Skaterock, Vol.3 tracks, The original, unreleased version of the "Isn´t Life a Dream" 7" and an Unreleased Avengers cover on the flip. first,... this is their new album and to honest, it´s pretty good in the production, musically and lyrically a follow up to their Ungovernable Force LP - Very typical old school "Conflict" Styled BUT - since i first saw them in the early ninieties it was clear for me that these band has not a wee bit to do of that what they preach and say or stand for! and even today more than ever a simple jump on the reunion wagon release that is hard to be taken serious when you see how they act apart from their stage performances and how the marked the ideologies of anarchism... just as they sung in the old songs... anarchy is big business and they know how to use it, clever with some grassroots influence, benefits and solidarity on paper... but Sexism is still a hollow shout , Mr. Penn?...eh? For your Conflict collection this is essential! But keep in mind that UK Anarcho Punk died for me with stuff like that! Bang! Out of order! Do i have to hire some Bodyguards now when i´m in London?

"Grinding CRUST from Halifax in the vain of early UK crust/stenchcore not unlike DEVIATED INSTINCT and AXEGRINDER. Dar, Heavy and Crushing." - says the infos and i can´t say it better. Comes in a heavy sleeve with bold black ink on white cardboard... artwork reminds a bit of PUSMORTs "Cleanse the Bacteria" LP if you ask me but this is no downer at all. - Note: Comes in colored Splatter Vinyl, limited to 500 and we don´t have many of these. Sleeve corners are a little bit battered from the shipping but still in good condition.

Finally available as a Vinyl version with slightly different artwork... - New full length from this bunch of Brum anarcho street punx, think of GBH with brains!. " says the info, in fact this is their best material and i´m pretty much surprised. They changed the singer once again and blow out 15 new Tracks lyricwise in a simialr style than Oi Polloi which is not an insult here than they have plenty to say. If you like good old UK Punkrock mixed with a bit more sing a long anthems this is what you probably look for. Good one.

Review - Contempt have been kickin´out punk rock tunes since 1984. The band came together out of the ashes of three Wolverhampton based punk bands Vendetta, Seventh Plague and Pulex Irritans and have since gone on to tour all over the UK and in Europe. The bands line-up has changed a lot over the years, but the music remains true and Contempt just refuse to go away......Contempt play mid tempo - fast anarcho punk rock, with political lyrics covering issues such as war, poverty, human rights, animal rights, anti-fascism, anti-racism and anti-capitalism. "Who Needs Diplomacy?" is their new 15 track album.

Restocked! - European pressing of this raging @-punk release that was put out on Tribal War Records early last year. Eric and Shelly from Catchphraze Records are among the members of Contravene, an action minded anarcho-punk band from Arizona. Powerful and slightly metaltinged music back up a female vocal charged assault with angry and well-written political lyrics. Mostly fast and upbeat but they´re also not afraid to put in more melodic and calm parts That reminds me often of bands like Nausea on one, and early Chumbawamba on the other end. They do a great cover of One by One´s "Common Ground" from the "In the Spirit of Total Resistance" comp.
