EASPA MEASA / DIVISIONS RUIN - Split LP

Two of Ireland´s finest offer up a fine split of emotionally charged crust-tinged political hardcore. EASPA MEASA should be well known after their crazy 5-month-Euro-Tour back in 2005. It has been a little quiet around them since then, but now they are back with new recording. As this band has always been really important for me, i am totally happy about beeing part in this release. DIVISIONS RUIN on the flipside have gone through some line-up changes after their debut-EP, but managed to delevop their sound further and you´ll find a handful of new songs as well as some older ones from their demo on this split LP.

  ( Contraszt! Rec 2010 / DE )  LP - Euro: 8.00

EASPA MEASA / SILENCE - Split. LP

Restock! - Silence from Poland are hard hitting crustcore somewhat similar to a band like Fall of Efrafa, with the same style of varying between faster, harder, and heavier stuff. The old Tragedy comparison suits this fine as well, even though Silence are more on the doomy side. Tuned down and powerful. I know a lot of bands get the same description in lists like this all the time, but trust me on the fact that this is good. Easpa Measa from Ireland draw influences from great Irish bands like Jobbycrust and The Dagda in some parts and also adds some Ballast to it all. Quite a lot of tempo changes ranging from fast and pissed of to more tribal stuff, with dual fe/male vocals. Good stuff indeed. Said: Attack! Fanzine.

  ( Sadness of Noise / Ire )  LP - Euro: 8.00

  EDELWEISS PIRATEN - Blizna. LP

Polish millenium Crust with roots into TRAGEDY and probably also WOLFBRIGADE. This band from Olsztyn (Poland) is around since quite many years, even released demo CD-R few years ago, but during all this time they had several personal/style changes. Now the line up is stable and they built their own sound - powerful, heavy and driving hardcorepunk with 2 guitars and mixed vocals leaded by strong and angry female voice. You can compare their sound to Tragedy, Wolfbrigade etc. but you can still get the strong polish punk influence here, check this MP3: [ 1 ] and [ 2 ] to see its not just another clone neo-crust band.

  ( Trujaca Fala 2009 / Pol. )  LP - Euro: 8.00

EL BANDA - Przejdzie ci El Banda. LP

Restock! - Debut LP by this Warsaw (Poland) based Band and as I heard their last one since they split up. This band was made up with members from a whole range of polish punk bands including folx from "Antidotum" and the brilliant "Post Regiment" and you can hear that. Fast, catchy, energetic melodic punk rock with this typical flair innit and amazing female vocals.

( Pazazer / Pol )  LP - Euro: *OUT OF STOCK.

EL BANDA - Skutki Uboczne. DoLP

Hopefully Available 10th of March! Completely underated polish band from Warsaw delivering their 3rd output. Still reminding me a lot of Post Regiment and Antidotum, what maybe has it´s origin in the outstandng female vocals and the same kind of rhythm. This is my actual favorite export of Poland when it comes to pounding full throttle punk rock with attitude. Gatefold Sleeve.

( Pasazer 2010 / PL )  LP - Euro: *TEMP. OUT OF STOCK.

EMBERS / BOOK OF BELIAL - Split LP

Embers recently toured Europe with their heavy, dark, ambient and black metal ridden crust and bring you here 2 brandnew tracks "Wrath" and "Awakening". Embers drives into the heart of dynamic, symphonic discord on a sonic journey inspired by dreams, meditation, and raw rage. Former members of the political crusty hardcore/metal band "Lesser Of Two".
The flip brings you "Book Of Belial" from Portland,Oregon and they rip out two massive tracks of old school Black/Death Metal that are too much Black/Death Metal for my taste but still pure evil and you kids will dig it, i´m sure. Coverartwork can´t get more "Old School" i suppose! Great! Limited to 1000 copies!

  ( DIY / US )  LP - Euro: 10.00

END OF ALL - The art of decadence LP

The second full length album from this dark Swedish crustcore band totally lays to waste their previous LP with these twelve lengthy new tracks. Musically this is thickly-layered guitar-blazing hardcore punk, built over a galloping d-beat tempo (yet with interesting variations) and crowned with desperately angry vocals. For those who need a more spelled-out reference; there are strong hints of WOLFBRIGADE (from which they share a member), MASSMORD, and TRAGEDY in their sound. The lyrics are predominantly in English, cover a lot of ground subject-wise and come from a pain-filled and desperate perspective. The recording is expertly handled at Hobo Records in Jönköping and has massive sound. From the epic intro Age of the Serpents, to the finale Sista Vilan, this album truly delivers the goods!(PE)

  ( Tofu Guerilla / Ger + Friends )  LP - Euro: 8.00

END ON END - Seeing things in a different light. LP

The lyrics deal with political as well as self searching/improving issues. The music is set up with a straight ahead "GO" attitude but it doesnt fail to be intricate at the same time. Within the fast paced songs are some pretty sweet little melodies. Theres always a hint of a DC sound or one of Ebullition. The vocals are half screamed and half shouted speaking. If youre into the earlier era of hardcore... from the 80s to the early 90s, I think youll be a big fan of this. (Kleister)

  ( Hostile / Ger )  LP - Euro: 5.00 ( Euro: 8.00 list!)

  ENDROPHOBIA - s/t. LP

PE Website says: After a well-received a much acclaimed debut EP, ENDOPHOBIA went back to work and wrote this fearsome eleven song LP. If you are not yet familiar with this band, then you should know they hail from Stuttgart, Germany and have a bit of an all-star cast that includes Tati, formerly of LOST WORLD on vocals, and also includes both Ben and Kelly Haliburton. Musically this is powerful yet melodic hardcore punk with plenty of scorching guitar riffs. Of course the lyrics are as political and are as angry as one would expect from this crowd. Although their style is an entirely modern brand of hardcore punk, they also pay homage to their roots by including a classic SLIME cover.

  ( Communichaos / Swe )  LP - Euro: 8.00

  ESKATOLOGIA / DISTRESS - Split. 10" MLP

Gothenburgs force of the apocalypse Eskatologia teams up with the Russian d-beat heroes Distress from St. Petersburg for a must have split 10" of 2010. The bands toured together twice during 2009 and are now releasing their mayhem onto vinyl. The release is planned to be followed by a mutual tour through Sweden, Finland and Russia. This is Eskatologias first proper release, but Distress should be familiar to all. The war is on. - says the Press release, you can expect some bloody crustcore attack on your ears that is actually a massive blast from both sides. Nice one.
