Not much to tell at the moment and not too many new Releases on board as well . It´s nearly impossible to cover up the actual output of Bands that comes along without loading the shelves and flat to the maximum again and THIS is something i have to avoid at the moment.
NEW in stock is a selection of stuff that i REALLY can recommend...especially the MORNE Demo CD is worth to check out if you like the good old heavy massive and darkened Crust kind of AXEGRINDER and some said second BOLT THROWER... lots of reverb and atmosphere... amazing!
Theres also a massive new stock of PATCHES available. Check it out and cover the holes in your pants for the upcoming winter.

Another reason for this late update may be that i suffer a bit from lack of motivation at the moment since the last "Feedback" aint too good here and people pay up their bills extremely slow, this forces RUIN NATION into the same method and leaves a bitter taste...- In fact, the financial situation here looks very risky and gloomy due the lack of funds, this also reflects on the upcoming new releases (of course) so if you don´t know how to spend Grandma´s X-Mass donations, i would be happy take them in exchange for some good ass kicking punk rock or some inspiring literature...eh?

Almost a month without a newslist... sorry, being still forced to build shelves in the new distro room and try to sort out the "how to slam as much boxes in a corner as possible" issues that you have to deal with,when you squeeze a distro like Ruin Nation into a 3 room flat.
The clearance sale helped alot, but i decided to extend the discount offer until 24th of October since i haven´t got enough time to set everything back. Good for you eh? So order as much as you can folx.

at last, the long awaited Summerhole is here finally and the whole August was very low so far at the Ruin Nation HQ. This gave me plenty of time to sort out private things, fixing bugs at the website and preparing the moving of the distro but also reflects on the financial situation really REALLY badly and the last month seems to be one of the hardest ever. I put an "hold" on the pressing of the new releases until i have enough to pay at least outstanding bills. This has much more priority and theres still a lot, ALOT of people who owe me money from Wholesale as well as Mailorder accounts! - New Releases should be out as soon i have some (financial) feedback here and apologies to everyone who has to wait. None the less theres some quite interesting new stuff available to spend your Festival leftover cash...
We will be at the ZORO Festival in Leipzig 5 - 7th of September. See you there hopefully and we bring a massive Stall as well.

[1] Honestly, the last 2 weeks didn´t looked really sunny here up in the north and there was almost more rain as it is in usually in the Fall. Good weather to spend some bucks in some new records as theres maybe not much in this update, but what i have is some really good new ones such as the AGRIMONIA LP or the new PISSCHRIST. Really good stuff and then when sun is making a new effort to burn the skin from our flesh, theres a SHITLOAD OF NEW T SHIRT DESIGNS available. - Check the Shirt section.

[2] I was pretty busy doing artwork jobs the last 2 weeks as well as changing some of the website layout and functions. It´s still not everything solved, so if there are some "problems" coming up with navigation or blind links, please email me or try this Alternative navigation that you find on the "Home Zone" Page.

[3] It looks like the nerds of the SPAM ARMY managed to hack into our "ruinnation.org" again and serve not less than at least a 400 SPAM mails every single day. [1] Not much to say... except the Summerhole is coming more or less. So i hope you all enjoy travelling from Festival to Festival... collect your empty bottle refunds please for next months order please ;) as this period of the year means pure survival for a Mailorder Distribution... so ANYWAY, as usual i will use the spare time to hang my ass to the sea side and edit some website updates and layout changings here and there.

Theres also a few new titles and Restocks available for those who stay at home and look for some interesting stuff.

[2] Bank Transfers and Orders... We had some problems with the PP Account and some who send cash via this service had to suffer a bit of a wait to get there stuff. BUT THEN AGAIN... everything is sorted and we can go back to normal as usual ;)

[3] New Releases are in the Pipeline and the next one will be the DETRITUS LP by the end of July with a bit of a delay of...some years i fear... but you can expect a masterpiece of raging old school Yurpean CRUSTCORE Belgian handwriting and not unlike HIATUS at their best period... stay tuned on that!

HELLSHOCK "Shadows of the Afterworld" Repress is still in mind but we ( Stachel and me) just recently received the remaining artwork and we have to deal with our money situations and discuss "how do and when" etc... -we´re not impressed at the moment...

[4] Moving again... due the fact that we are still working on a very low income and paying rent twice is a fairly stupid idea - WE WILL MOVE THE DISTRO back into our nice and coosy 4th Floor Flat... - I try to finish this "backbreaking" act during the July/August Month(s) so it should not stop the Distro Flow...

This major-update is for 1st. of April until 30th of May - As mentioned in previous News and Emails i will take a break and be on a 2 month vacation with my best friend travelling South Italy, Greece, Romania and ending in Berlin by mid May 2008. - This is my first real vacation aside of Touring with Bands since 15 fucking years and somehow i feel like i deserve it and my mind speaks the same.

MAILORDER: During this period (01.04 - 30.05) Mailorder activities run on a VERY LOW level. - A good friend is taking care of incoming and outgoing orders and will ship everything to you under my advice. So please expect a longer proceed of your order. His spare time is limited and i won´t beable to check my emails everyday.

UPDATES: Within this 2 month there won´t be so many Distro updates, so we can ship everything that is in stock at the moment of ordering. Restocks and News will be added when i´m back and/or as much i can navigate from the outside. But don´t expect too much as said, ... i´m doing a break ;)

Our internet problems aren´t really solved yet and the connection is only slightly faster. I don´t know really what the actual problem is. Maybe the servers are totally blown... hope it´s solved soon for a proper website update before i leave.

IN IRATUS Fallen lassen CD is here and looks good and sounds amazing. Fucking raging outstanding cliché free German spoken political hardcore punk with a "slap in the face" effect and a Benefit is it too... get a copy, it´s limited to 500 CDs and all are a benefit for ANTI REPRESSION groups.

Next one will be the HEVN Extended Plays CD which is on it´s way to the pressing already and should be here hopefully before i leave end of the Month (see info below) - Further plans for June include the HELLSHOCK Shadows of the Afterworld LP repress together with Stachel of HATE Records as well as the longawaited DETRITUS s/t. LP which will see the light of day as soon we can afford it. Later on this year there will be a Vinyl version of the ZOUNDS Discography DoLP including the "Curse of Zounds" LP plus all singles in a proper (!) remastered Version.

Spring Clearance sale is still going on and the shelves clear up pretty good. It´s 2 weeks left so i will try to add more titles along this week. Please check back on this website.

IMPORTANT: As mentioned before: I WILL BE AWAY ON VACATION FROM 01.04. - 01.06. - Travelling with my best friend to south Italy, Greece, Romania, Austria and end up in Berlin end of May. [1] First news in 2008... we are forced to only 50% of the usual Mailorder activieties due circumstances beyond our control. Jobs in order to keep us alive and going, troubles with the BIG BROTHER... • i have to limit the Distro action to the evening hours and so far it does not look like there is a solution soon on the horizon.

[2] There are plenty of Restocks and NEW TITLES to be added to the catalogue and some of them already are... please check the website along this week as i fill and edit the data base almost everyday now. • Some editing also happend on the Webshop functions, Website Layouts and all in all the whole website should work much proper again. [1] Ok, it´s almost three weeks after the last update and i realised i forgot to include a pile of stuff laying around the office. Doh!!! Again with a delay, the Mailorder updates for June finally hit the mailer. Thanx alot to everyone who got in touch with this operation and who became a friend, old, new..., also thanx for being patience with my "kind of" delays from time to time especially with the new Label releases. - Running the distro 90% full time as a single person isn´t that easy sometimes and next Years beginning looks even more cloudy since i will have to work a proper full time Job starting the 10th of January in order to manage paying my rent and getting feed. This means i have to reduce the Distro hours to the evening and probably can´t hold that fast delivery service as it is now but this shouldn´t put you off too much as it´s just a question of organization and probably a slightly longer 2 days waiting. - A new printed catalogue should be ready end of January and will be send out to everyone who was asking for it. - And again, thanx to everyone who helped out with orders and letters and especially to: Jon and Marta, Dan, Kleister, Timo, Fractura, Asbjörn, Stachel, Jan, Hobbel, Gülle, Edith and Lotti for help with the whole project. [2] I recently moved the entire Address Book for the Newsletter to a new provider/host that cost us money now but promised a better service and may be more reliable in delivering the emails to your inbox instead of your spam box... - we still try to avoid to spam you as only registered users are in our listing to receive this.... none the less we make mistakes here and there so if you don´t want to get the mailorder updates send us a email. We´ve been on the spammer attack list now with our own host email address as well, so i work out on a clever plan to change our email address without too much fuss.... it´s a pain in the ass...i know. Hi,... the September update ... I may be a bit behind the things since i was away in London and on a long festival weekend but i catch up with everything asap... as well as the rennovation of the website will be done this week to make everything more easier... hopefully.

There´s also alot of cool new stuff in the distro... some of it in very low quanteties so you better be quick. As well as a whole bunch of new badges we also got more t shirts that will take a while to list them as i have to scan in the images. same for patches. until next time...

Bands on Tour or planning to Tour: I´m overhelmed with organising tours and gigs here, as well as i make a break from the Concert Collectives i´m involved with and rarely go to the meetings. You can still send me an email but do not exspect a full force involvment as i have no time for it. I can at least foreward you emails to our Concert Groups.

Hey ho... the August update here,... i spend the last two days typing and listing stuff since theres so many new book titles available from Ak Press and there´s a big load more coming up. Doing English written books is still pretty hard here, but i keep it up as i still think it´s important and nearly everyone can read it with a little bit of effort and the whole nature of learning how to realise something like an "Alternative" from this fucked up society keeps me going and reading and learning how to do it ourselfs...

Musicwise there are some titles that didn´t arrieved here at the time of updating the catalogue, but should be here ASAP. Theres a lot of cool new releases coming up i.e. from Alerta Antifascista and Yellow Dog being super busy at the moment.

Talking of being busy... The SUBSTANDARD is still delayed as i have NOT finished the backside of the cover yet, but it´s on my list next, so hold your breath. As well as the work for the DETRITUS LP makes some pretty progress here. More infos on it ASAP.

Hi Kiddies, i´m back from our tour and we had a fucking good time and lot´s of fun all way through ... except when we had to fire our driver due circumstances that are far away from any responsibilities he should provide as a driver for a band with a full backline....due the situation of just having half of the tour finished and being stuck in the south french rocky mountains we had to organise a legion of friends to pick us up and bring us from one place to another,... kind of a expirience i didn´t want to go through that soon again, but it worked out... finally... with alot of stress, sweat and sleepless nights we made it without cancelling a single gig! - The tour diary could fill a book but i have no time for it either, sadly...

Back home i had to cope with a fucking cold and countless unansvered emails... and to complete it ... a fucking summer cold that knocked me out a bit - so please be patience with replies... i do my best here thus Ruin Nation is for 90% a one person affair when it comes to all the organisation stuff. During the Summer i will try to update and clear the catalogue completly and also work out some website reconstructions as well as a new printed copy of the catalogue.

Hi there,not very much happens on the vinyl sector except a few new ones BUT (!) we added a shitload of new music tapes and cd´s as well as alot new books and magazine. AND... finally we have the first botch of T SHIRTS online. thanx chiefly to Filip we can do them very cheap but not as wholesale yet.
The website is still in progress and i try to keep up with everything as fast as i can..., a Message Board is in the work and as soon as i have someone on board to take care over the administration we set it on to replace the News and Propaganda sections and make it better viewable and easier to update.
PLEASE NOTE: I will be on tour from the 8th - 25th of June with 14" GENERAL (see mainpage for details) and we already prepared our mobile distro boxes to hit the road once again. during this period i won´t be able to do orders, emails etc... so please keep that in mind.
